In Italy, ice cream is considered a complete meal. I offer you a step-by-step recipe for Italian ice cream - Semifreddo. Ice cream is very easy to cook, and the taste will not leave you indifferent!
yolks - 7 pieces
sugar - 220 g
cream - 500 g
1 glass of Nutella
Separate yolks from proteins for cooking custard. Place yolks in a fire-resistant bowl suitable for a water bath. From proteins you can prepare a protein omelet for breakfast or meringue cookies;
Add sugar to yolks and whisk with a whisk / mixer for about 3 minutes or until it becomes thicker and lighter;
In a saucepan pour 2/3 of water and bring to a boil over a small fire. Put a bowl of whipped yolks and sugar on a saucepan. Check that the bowl does not touch the water. Prepare the cream, stirring constantly with a whisk, about 10-12 minutes, or until the cream becomes very hot, but it will not boil yet;
In a separate bowl, whip the cream to a thick cream;
Add 3/4 of the custard in a bowl with whipped cream and a wooden spatula gently mix;
In a bowl with the remaining cream, add Nutella and mix with a wooden spatula;
Form 23 × 13, cover the food film and leave the pieces of film to hang on the sides, then close the ice cream from above;
Spread 2/3 of the custard in a mold and smoothen it;
Put the cream with Nutella (if the cream is thick, use 2 spoons);
Put the remaining custard in a mold and level it;
Cover the ice cream with a film and put in the freezer for the night (at least 8 hours);
